    The GSHPA delegation values and asks for our membership's feedback on the proposals that will be discussed and voted on during the 58th National Council Session this July in Washington DC. Please share your thoughts on the proposals below so our National Delegates can act in a way that is representative of GSHPA membership.

  • Proposal #1 - Girl Scout Highest Awards Solicitation of Contributions

    This proposal seeks to amend the Solicitation of Contributions policy within the Blue Book of Basic Documents so that fundraising would be expanded to girl members for Bronze and Silver Award projects. Currently, only Seniors and Ambassadors may fundraise for their Gold Award.

    This proposal seeks to amend the Credentials section of the Blue Book of Basic Documents, specifically Membership Dues and Procedures for Registration by lowering the max percentage of a change in dues authorized by the National Board from 25% to 15%.

  • Proposal #3 - Preservation of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience Relating to the Entrepreneurship Program

    This proposal seeks to amend the Girl Scout Trademark section of the Blue Book of Basic Documents so that no food products with the Girl Scout name or service mark may be sold during designated product program periods.
